The Gray Fizz
In Year 233, a mass of colorless soda flooded the entirety of Pop Planet for seemingly no reason and destroyed much of the smaller settlements of the planet. While there were more casualties than deaths, survivors of The Gray Fizz recalled that the horrible taste of the desaturated soda was the worst part–“It tasted like salty tears and emotional death!” Pop City’s health enforcement officials were quick to rebuild the massacred cities and settlements in what was known as the Researchers to this day have no idea what could have possibly caused the Gray Fizz, and causes are still widely speculated.
